GUYS!! Old N200, N500, N1,000 Notes Is Now Valid Till Dec 31 – How Much Of The Old Naira Notes Do You Still Have?

The recent ruling by the Supreme Court in Nigeria has made it clear that old N200, N500, and N1,000 notes will continue to be used as legal tender until December 31, 2023.

This decision has nullified the Federal Government’s policy of redesigning the naira, which was deemed unconstitutional.

While this ruling might not come as a surprise to many Nigerians, it does raise an interesting question: how much of the old naira notes do people still have in their possession?

The Supreme Court’s decision means that these notes will remain in circulation for at least two more years, and it’s possible that some people might have been hoarding them in anticipation of their eventual withdrawal from circulation.

Some people hurriedly spend all their old naira notes at loss. My sis was a victim. I kept a note for remembrance, make I use am go chop fes. Na who chop dey do remembrance.
