The general election is fast approaching and in just two weeks, Nigeria will have a new president.

Three main candidates are running in this election, including the Labour Party’s Peter Obi, the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s Atiku Abubakar. These four-runner candidates are all vying for the chance to lead Nigeria and bring about positive change for the country.

Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State in Nigeria, has a large following of supporters who are known as “ObiDENTs”. These supporters are passionate about Obi’s vision for the country and believe in his ability to bring about positive change.

Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria and one of the main opposition candidates in the 2019 presidential elections, has a large following of supporters known as “AtikuLATEDs”. These supporters are drawn to Atiku’s vast business experience and his commitment to growing the Nigerian economy.

As for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State and a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, his followers have yet to be officially given a moniker. However, some have referred to them informally as “Bu la ba“. Regardless of what they are called, Tinubu’s supporters are known for their unwavering loyalty and commitment to his political vision.
