EBSU Students Protest Against Their SUG Election Results
The just concluded Ebonyi State University Students Union Government otherwise known as SUG Election results which was announced on friday 12th may 2017 has created an avenue for protest within the state.
The students who said the election was rigged has refused to accept the candidate who emerged president elect Comrade Egbe Collins, the student matched from the University’s CAS Campus to the government house in multitude agitating to see the governor over their petition.
They protested in Ebonyi State government house for over 2hours before they were addressed by the SA to the governor on student affairs, but they insisted on seeing the Governor himself.
The SA adviced the student to follow due process in getting their voice heard by the academic board also said that coming to the ebonyi state government house was the wrong a wrong move.
The leader of the protest Comrade Agu Daniel, urge the students not to relent on there pursuit for justice.
